FIVE-YEAR STREAK-FREE ROOF WASH GUARANTEE

This Five-Year Streak-Free Guarantee (“Guarantee”) is issued by Practical Exterior Maintenance, hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” to the property owner (“Customer”) identified in the corresponding service agreement. This Guarantee is effective as of the date of the completed roof washing service and remains in effect for a period of five (5) years from that date.

1. Guarantee Coverage

Practical Exterior Maintenance guarantees that the roof washing service performed on the Customer’s property will remain free of streaks caused by organic growth (such as algae, mold, mildew, or lichen) for a period of five (5) years from the date of service. If streaking due to organic growth appears within this period, Practical Exterior Maintenance will provide a one-time complimentary cleaning of the affected areas at no cost to the Customer.

2. Guarantee Exclusions

This Guarantee does not cover the following conditions:

a. Overhanging Branches: Any streaking or organic growth caused or accelerated by trees, branches, or other vegetation hanging over or near the roof.
b. Shaded Roof Areas: Any streaking or organic growth occurring in areas of the roof that are consistently shaded due to trees, buildings, or other structures.
c. Physical Damage or External Factors: Any streaking caused by roof damage, improper drainage, excessive debris accumulation, or exposure to excessive moisture due to environmental conditions beyond normal weather patterns.
d. Roof Alterations or Maintenance Neglect: Any changes to the roof, such as the installation of new fixtures, improper maintenance, or the use of non-approved cleaning solutions or coatings that interfere with the effectiveness of the roof wash treatment.

3. Claim Process

If the Customer believes their roof has developed streaking due to organic growth within the five-year period, they must:
1. Provide the original signed copy of this Guarantee as proof of warranty coverage.
2. Notify Practical Exterior Maintenance in writing at [Company Email/Address] with a description of the issue and supporting photographs.
3. Allow Practical Exterior Maintenance to inspect the roof and determine if the claim is valid under this Guarantee.
4. If the claim is approved, Practical Exterior Maintenance will schedule and perform a one-time cleaning of the affected areas.

4. Limitations and Liability

This Guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original Customer and property where the service was performed. Practical Exterior Maintenance’s obligation under this Guarantee is limited to providing a one-time cleaning service as described. Practical Exterior Maintenance is not responsible for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages related to streaking or organic growth.

5. Agreement Acknowledgment

By purchasing Practical Exterior Maintenance’s roof washing service, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Guarantee and understands that the original signed copy of this document is required to make a claim under this warranty.
